back story (time skip) : Toma was on a mission to stop a group of time breakers. what was supposed to be an easy mission ended in disaster when one of the time breakers summoned a demon named  super Janemba, barely able to hold her own against this demon little Toma fought her hardest to no avail as she got her left arm broken and her tail ripped off. As she lied there struggling to keep cancerous she wondered if this was her punishment for all the years she refused to help those who were weaker than her. As she passed out she caught a glimpse of someone kicking Janemba. Later she awoke in a bed her arm was in a cast and she was unable to see out of her left eye do to it being covered in wrappings. Looking around the room she spotted a small boy with purple hair sleeping in a chair, she was shocked as he resembled trunks the man who gave her, her missions back at time patrol. Toma struggled to get out of bed waking the young boy in the process. He called for his parents as he helps her up. The boy's father entered the room and demanded Toma get back in bed, Toma was her stubborn self and refused to lie down resulting in the man getting angry and throwing her into the bed knocking her out again in the process. about an hour later she came to again. This time the boy and both his parents were there,the boy's mother introduced herself as bulma,she assured toma that she was safe with them and could stay with them until she was fully healed. Toma insisted she didn't need there help and that she only needed to get back to her ship(referring to the time machine she arrived in). The small boy(aka kid Trunks) explained that they saw the fight on there way back from the park and  revealed that she couldn't return to her ship as his dad blew it up by accident when he was fighting Janemba. Toma realizing she's trapped in the past sits there silently not knowing what to do. After a few months Toma was back to full health and attending Orange Star high(Bulma's idea) this didn't last long as toma put a teacher in a coma after he called her Tomato by mistake. eventually she encountered the god of destruction beerus who she foolishly challenged to a fight after losing by a flick to the forehead Toma amazed by his straight begs him to train her. Lord Beerus refused until Toma managed to strike a deal with him after hearing Whis mention that beerus wanted to try some pudding. Beerus agreed to give her a few lessons after she gave him a truck load of pudding that she "borrowed"(if the quotes don't tell you she stole it XD) after a few lesson's beerus finding her short temper and unpredictable personality amusing takes her on as a full time student, they trained for around three and a half years toma grew her tail back in that time. Some time later Beerus decided to take one of his naps. Toma while enjoying a meal was asked by Whis if she wished to return to her time. Toma shocked asked how whis knew she was from another time. Whis tells her that he saw her when they visited toki toki. Toma asked him if he would be able to take her back to toki toki city. whis agrees to take her back with her promising to visit form to time. toma dawns a new armor similar to vegeta's from revival of f. Toma returns to toki toki to the shock of her team, zorrat and his squad were amazed to see the 16 year girl who left for a mission a day ago had returned as a grown women in her early twenty's. Toma returning more mature and with a better outlook on life she decides to train new patrollers and help them out in missions on her free time.
